What Should I Expect During the Morpheus8 Treatment?

The Morpheus8 treatment can take anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour, depending on what area you are having treated. Your provider will first administer a local anesthetic to the areas being treated in order to minimize any discomfort. Your provider will then penetrate your skin with RF energy via tiny microabrasions. Your provider will determine at what depth to penetrate the skin in order to allow for the most optimal results for your particular skin concerns. Immediately following your treatment you can expect a little bit of bleeding from the microabrasions. Your face may also be red, and have some mild swelling or bruising. You may also notice red raised bumps at the injection sites. All of these symptoms should resolve themselves with 24-72 hours following your treatment. Although downtime after Morpheus8 is minimal we don’t recommend that you plan any big events for a least 3 days following your treatment. You will also need to stay out of the sun and wear a broad spectrum sunscreen of at least SPF 30. You’ll be able to see results within a few days of your treatment, although you’ll see the best results following your three initial treatments, after which your skin will only continue to improve.
